Fall in the City of Lights

The days are growing shorter and the leaves will be changing color soon, but the City of Lights is heating up. In Natchitoches, fall means FOOTBALL. The Northwestern State University (NSU) Demons opened their season with the historic White Out game on Thursday, August 28. Get your season tickets at http://www.nsutickets.com/ and never miss another game. Of course, football fans in the know stay at St. Luke RV Park and get the best rates in Natchitoches.

Natchitoches continues to celebrate its tricentennial. That's 300 years and makes the City of Lights the oldest permanent settlement in the Louisiana Purchase. When we celebrate, we celebrate big with the Meat Pie Festival on September 12 and 13. Events on the 13th include a Founder's Day Celebration and aerobatic Air Show and climax with fireworks at 9pm. Make your reservations today at St. Luke RV Park. You don't want to miss out on the celebration.

Feeling frisky this fall? Join other runners/walkers/meanderers for the Meat Pie Triathlon taking place on September 28 at 7am. Looks like this is shaping up to be another great season in the City of Lights. See you soon.
